Mabel
Mabel (メーベル, Mēberu, EN: Maebelle) is a character from Shining Force EXA. She is looking for Shining Force in the hopes that it will give her the power to save her people who are slowly dying from the effects of the war between the Noswald Empire and Fialand.

I had a mother in mind. (laughs) I wanted her to seem calm so I made her an elf, but with black hair. I should say, I naturally chose black hair. Also, I remember being constantly told you can only see her chest in battle, so I opened up her chest area a little.

イメージは“お母さん”でした(笑)。落ち着いた感じにしたかったので、エルフだけど髪は黒にして。というか、自然に黒を選んでいましたね。あと、戦うときにだけ胸が見えるということをさんざん言った覚えがあります。そのために胸元、少し開けてあります。

- Concept Work
The order was for a young elf woman who uses a longbow. I'm always really surprised by pako's fashions, but I think the harp-shaped bow is especially fashionable! In her early illustrations, she wore pink slippers on her bare feet.

大弓を使うお姉さんエルフというオーダーです。pakoさんのファッションデザインにはよく驚かされるのですが、このハープのような大弓はとくにセンスいいな！と思いました。初期の絵では、裸足にピンクのスリッパをつっかけていました。
