Shining Force EXA.
[1]Bioengineered organisms (疑似生命体,[1] giji sēmētai, "faux life form") are life forms created through the use of technology. Dark Dragon is named in Shining Force: Resurrection of the Black Dragon as an example of life created by the Ancients of Rune. Dark Sol describes his own biology as having been altered by Ancient technology, and although the means is not specified, Dark Sol himself had modified the body of Runefaust's Dragon Master Barbazak.
It is implied that the Ancients created the demihumans of Rune, but specific races are not identified.
In Shining Force EXA, the dog who administers the Geo-Fortress, Zenas, is described as an artificial life form created by ancient technology.[1]
Depending on the source's interpretation of the existence of divinity, Divine Dragons are an instance of artificial life.

| The civilisation of the gods became so advanced that they could create new life. But then their creations began to threaten their masters...

| Various creatures challenged the gods... the ancients... to fight. It wasn't because they disliked the gods. They were fighting for their dignity. I guess they wanted to prove that life is life...whether you're born naturally or not.

| The gods...the ancients were afraid. Afraid of the new creatures they'd made. They created a final beast in order to protect themselves

| Long long ago, the gods created a dragon that would preserve peace on earth. This dragon was the ancestor of our dragon god, right? Why was the first dragon god born...? Well, he was born so that he could fight Dark Dragon. [. . .] So the gods created the White Dragon to confront Dark Dragon. Yep, and he's our ancestor. [. . .] The White Dragon fought a terrible battle with Dark Dragon... [. . .] It looked like the powerful Dark Dragon would succeed in killing him. But then there was a miracle. The sight of the dying White Dragon, risking his life to defeat Dark Dragon... This moved the gods, who had always been afraid to pick up their weapons and fight. The White Dragon and the gods fought together and finally sealed away Dark Dragon. [. . .] The gods created the realm of Dragonia as a pasture for the White Dragon. He had no strength left to fight, but in Dragonia be [sic] bore many children. And they became dragon gods. The gods entrusted the protection of the world to these dragon gods.
